DESCRIPTION

Ideas need people to work out. It doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Ideas also do not rely on the top management or someone privileged with big titles – ideas already exist in each of our minds. Ideas require us to express them by taking action, unleash it by collaboration and drive them as vocation.

Corporate Hackathon is a semi-structured programme designed for corporates and organisations to unleash the greatest amount of ideas from bottom’s up and to influence the workforce to drive these ideas as their vocation.

The focus of Corporate Hackathon usually deals with the innovations aspirations of the organisation, such as going digital, reimagining customer experience, redesigning processes for emerging markets, creating new products for new segments, acquiring digital mindset and leveling up productivity.

Corporate Hackathon format varies from a 3-day workshop to several weeks campaign; depending on the organisation’s appetite to driving innovation. The focus is on building internal innovation capability and capacity via bootcamp-style workshops.

Participation of Corporate Hackathon is open to all workforce level from top management to non-executives. It is done casually with less protocol where most energy is focused on building excitement in innovating and collaborating across multi-departments. Involvement of external parties are also encouraged for diversity purpose.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • DRIVEN BY REAL CHALLENGES

  • COLLABORATING 360

This programme will break boundaries and perceived walls between departments and divisions. We will pair up the team members across various departments to ensure all ideas become robust, innovative and sustainable.

  • MAKE IDEAS VISIBLE

Armed with rapid prototyping tool, participants will learn how to quickly act on their ideas by turning them visible and tangible (prototypes and mock ups). They will also be carrying those prototypes around to seek for deeper feedbacks and insights.

  • TALENT SHOW UP

The hackathon also will allow the organisation to discover talents that don’t normally show up in a typical talent assessment. These talents are hidden for various reasons and they can easily be spotted in this programme because of it’s outcome-based format.
